I have the best life! Each morning I awaken and know that the day will be a success - because I live life my way.
I have a passion for the outdoors and the beauty that surrounds me. Fall is my favorite time of year, with the crispness in the air, the colorful foliage exploding on the mountain, and the excitement of the holiday season fast approaching, One of the best things about living in Utah is that we truly experience all four seasons - although I could do without winter!
But, no matter the season there is no better way to spend time enjoying the outdoors than riding an ATV! Yes, a passion of mine is four-wheeling! What fun it is to explore the outdoors riding my bike. Although, I must admit that the steepness of the terrain and riding on the edge of a mountain can certainly take my breath away - literally!
I've been riding for a few years now, although I'm still a novice (I just don't like the rough stuff). I have ridden on the sand dunes and many of the fabulous trails Utah has to offer, seen abundant wildlife - including deer, elk, and a couple of Moose less than 20 feet away, and had some thrilling experiences. One of the things I enjoy the most is just being outdoors breathing the fresh clean air and seeing the beauty of the world from an entirely different perspective.

My professional life...
Wow - what a great life I have! After spending my career in the corporate rat race, working long and exhausting hours just to put money in someone else's pocket, I'm finally getting the chance to work for me! I still work long and exhausting hours but I am doing a variety of things - all what I love to do - and doing it from my home office. I admit there are challenges working for yourself, but the rewards are fabulous. I love the commute - and there's always a diet coke in the fridge. And, of course, I have the greatest boss!
Here's what I'm up to these days:
Vision - Since 1992 we have done a variety of projects, have a couple of album credits, worked with Grammy winners, Emmy winners, and an actor in an Oscar winning film. It's fun being a consultant and getting paid for telling people what to do and how to do it (in a nice way of course!). Over the years, our focus has changed to helping entrepreneurs take their business to the next level by providing tools so they can write their ultimate success story - and build a 6 (or more) figure business in the process! I'm sooooooooooo excited!!!! I've taken a position as the National Sales Manager, Snowmobile/ATV portals for a great company - Co-op Web Marketing! Soul Studio Designs - I love art! From paintings, to sculpture, to creating things out of common materials, I've been fascinated by the talent that many exhibit. In the near future I'll be starting an online gallery. It will feature stone art from Zimbabwe, other sculptures, paintings, and other art pieces. Eventually, I'd like to have pieces of art from all over the world. I'll even be featuring some of my own creations - including my jewelry line! The wise don't expect to find life worth living; they make it that way!
My personal life...
I don't claim to be wise...but I love my life and try to make it worth living every day. It's been quite a change moving to Heber (after almost 20 years in Los Angeles), but one of the advantages has been the opportunity, or more accurately time, to discover new passions and re-ignite some of the old ones.
Some of my current passions:
My house - my home is truly my sanctuary. I love spending time both indoors and out, and am working on getting it "just the way I want it". I'm a realist though, just when I think I'm done - I'll want to change something!
Cooking - I love to cook and try new recipes. Recently, I've adopted the strategy of taking 3 or 4 recipes for the same thing - and using them as a guide to create my own version. It's been very successful, I think my banana bread is yummy and my corn chowder is the best you'll ever taste! I'm considering writing a couple of cookbooks...we'll see if I can fit that into my schedule!
Utah Snowmobile Association - one of my fun projects is working with the Utah Snowmobile Association. I serve on the Board of Directors and am Editor of the Snow Scoop, the official publication of the Utah Snowmobile Association (USA). We publish monthly editions from October to March each year.
